My original plan was to eventually fill out all of the fan slots with Noctua NF-S12A fans (full front and center top fans as intake, back top and back as exhaust), but I'd like input on what setup would be recommended- static pressure or airflow, and what fans, PWM preferred but RGB not required. A thing to note is that a 3rd 120mm front fan would only cover about 1/3rd of the top part of the case, with the rest flowing into the hard drive cage and PSU cable nook.Īs far as I understand, it's better to maximize static pressure in builds with CPU heatsinks, and more for direct airflow for more clean builds, like AIO coolers. I wanted to keep the cooling not too noisy, but not to let it get impacted on thermals. I'm going to use a Noctua NH-U12S as a cooler with similar NF-F12 fans on each side of the heatsink, and a Gigabyte RTX 3070 Eagle card (282mm in length, 3 fan, perfectly 2 slot design). I've settled on this case after not being able to find the be quiet! Pure Base 500DX for sale in my region.Īnd it comes with 3 120mm 3-pin unmarked (?) fans- 2 on the front, and one at the back.
